Following Boris Johnson's announcement on Friday 20th March, it is with much sadness that I have to shut temporarily.
Protecting health and wellbeing through social distancing is now a vital step to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
During this time I am happy to consult with you by phone, by text, email or video calling. I will endeavour to help you wherever possible. I can provide advice regarding an injury or how to alleviate general aches, pain or discomfort.
I'm also able to provide support for how you can remain fit and healthy during this time. Maybe you'll even fancy a chat. I'd love to hear from you.
Thank you for your ongoing support. I wish you all good health and hope to see you again soon. Keep in touch, keep fit and healthy and most importantly stay safe.
I will update you with information when it is available.
Sports Massage is not limited to athletes and is suitable for anyone irrespective of age, level of fitness or gender. It is an appropriate therapy for anyone who is in need of soft tissue work, whether this is due to an injury or area of discomfort, or whether they are in need of a general massage. Sports Massage helps create an environment to enable the body to restore itself to its optimal function.
Those involved with sports find that sports massage, as a regular part of their training programme helps with preparation for events, improved performance and recovery as well as reduced injury occurrence. Those not involved in sports can also benefit from sports massage. For example they may have problems due to the demands placed on their body, such as from having a physical job, working long hours at a desk, having children to care for or partaking in gardening.
Sports Massage can be beneficial alongside physiotherapy, osteopathy and chiropractic treatment, as well as in rehabilitative therapy, or as a health benefit, to improve psychological well-being, promoting relaxation.
